This video was taken just one week ago, the day the fire line broke and ravaged down on Colorado Springs. It’s leadership in action. Very impressive, extremely interesting.
Steve Bach, mayor of Colorado Springs, gets the word of the fire line breaking. You can tell that the others were not aware of the news. They were prepping the press, letting them know of the developments in the fire, unaware that the 70 mph winds ripped into people’s homes. Who would have imagined such a horror to follow?
Now, one week later, the fire is more than 1/2 contained and communities are returning to their homes, or the rubble that remains. Firefighters are still fighting, but the breath of this dragon has faded. The National Guard are helping clean up the wreckage. And God sent a heavy rain last night.
There should be a movie on this.
