We can visualize Micah as a standup comedian someday. He loves to keep an audience laughing. Watch the video above and let us know what you think. Micah has three things going for him, and I believe they’re going to bring him places.
1. Micah is naturally funny.
Micah keeps the whole family laughing day in and day out. Sometimes he’s annoyingly funny, but we get over the annoying part. He’s the life of most any party.
He wrote the piece above after keeping us rolling about this crazy sled he built a couple years ago. What a funny story. “Micah, you’ve got to write this down!” Which leads to the second things he’s got going for him…
2. Micah used his platform.
It took some discipline on his part to sit down and actually write the speech, but he eventually did. See, this comedy routine is part of a larger 10 minute speech he wrote for competition. In fact, he took 1st place at the National Invitational Tournament of Champions last month.
Micah used the wildcard speech category Original Interpretation as his platform to write his own comedy routine. He was naturally funny, so he applied it to writing this skit. He polished the routine from tournament to tournament. He got better and better, eventually winning the final tournament.
3. Micah wants to continue.
Do you think Micah could perform in front of other audiences? We sure think so. He’s now working on adapting his 10 minute speech into a 30-minute routine. There’s a difference, but he’s relishing the challenge.
Now he just needs some gigs.

A greater feeling? On stage, hearing 2nd place’s name called…and it’s not yours.

Waiting for 1st place to be announced…Micah Jeub!

Dad was fortunate enough to be on stage with Micah.
