Life in 2012 Is Awesome

I remember life in the 80s. I do not recall it being as awesome as today.

We live a life of nonconformity. There are several reminders of the choices we have made over our 21-year-old family life. These reminders are seldom bleak. Compared to the childhood I recall, life in 2012 is pretty awesome.

“You Should Get a Job”

I lead debate camps in the summer. I'm on the far right with the Apologetics undeafeted champion on my shoulders (he's now one of our coaches). Jeub kids a peppered throughout the photo. I must admit, my work is awesome.

“I think he should get a job to support them.” My goodness, how could I fit a job into this? People think self-employment is sitting around in pajamas surfing the Internet. I work twice as hard self-employed as I ever did employed. Not sure why this commenter is on our website, but the judgment he/she dumped in the comment section is incredibly ignorant.

Bringing Order to the Home

I’ve been asked what I was thinking about when I was rushed to the hospital with an apparent heart attack. I wish I could say something valiant. “My children”, “my Lord Jesus”, “world peace” or something. You know what I was thinking about? Accounting.

Entrepreneurial Stupidity and Fear

Testing Your Brilliant Idea

Real entrepreneurs are both stupid and fearful, but in a healthy sense. Here are some thoughts in striking a good balance between the two.
